The 2015 annual meeting of AWSF will take place from May 1-3 in Portland, Oregon.

Rooms at the hotel were only blocked until April 1st. You may still get the $90 room rate after this date, but there is no guarantee that rooms will still be available. Please call the hotel directly to book a room and make sure to mention the AWSF conference.

Thanks to support from the American Folklore Society and the Western States Arts Federation, we will have some travel funning available for individuals coming to the conference. Please send a brief description of travel expenses and funding needs to awsfconference@gmail.com. Preference will go to those that are not receiving other types of financial help. Also, we would like to thank the Cultural Conservation Corps for helping to manage the finances.

We’ll be sending out the preliminary meeting agenda at the end of the week. We will appreciate any kind of feedback you have about it.
